Years ago when we started blogging, it was a Mother, Daughter, and a niece. That was the Posse`. Before long we were joined by a Sister from a different Mister. So it began.
From that, we built a huge kingdom of bloggers. We discovered early that it is very hard to keep blogging if you don't get comments, you don't have anyone to comment on, and there is not community. We built a HUGE community we called the kingdom.
Some of our closest and dearest friends came out of that Kingdom. We've seen each other through everything you can imagine. All through the miracle of blogging.
As time went on and facebook became more popular, blogging fell off. It was much easier to put up several updates a day. The time consuming and dedication to blogging fell by the wayside.
With no one to feed off, one by one we gave it up. We all still have our blogs but they are covered in dust and the doors and windows are stuck shut. They certainly need new paint.
A couple of us have decided we want to try and rebuild a posse` of bloggers because we miss that interaction in each others life's. We miss the intimate details that we don't take the time to put on facebook. "Little Mary just bit the dog!", does not form the same relationships as blogging the details of WHY Little Mary ended up biting the damn dog.
If you are a newbee, or an old timer that has just fallen off the radar, please leave a comment on this thread. Let's see if we hit it off and can support each other in the blog world. Sometimes all it takes is a couple comments from a stranger to bring out the writer that has been hiding in the shadows.
Silent readers usually mean, silent bloggers. No one wants to spend everyday talking to themselves. If they did, they would not blog, they would simply stand in front of the mirror and talk to their reflection.

I may bring back the Friday Frog Hop. That was always a hoot. I am also thinking about bringing back "Toasted by the Queen". The days of badges and awards has faded in to the sunset just like the average, everyday, blogger.
